The revolutionary SupexBond

Supexbond™ Platinum flooring installation system acts as a flooring adhesive, acoustical membrane, moisture barrier, crack filler, and cushion all-in-one easy to spread compound. It can be applied directly to any subfloor surface. It is environmentally friendly as it is VOC (volatile organic compounds) free, virtually odour free, nonflammable and contains recycled materials. It not only reduces the overall cost of installing your wood flooring but also allows you to complete your installation in one simple step. Gone are the days of wasting time waiting for glue to dry between sound barrier, vapour barrier and flooring.

 

This product is approved for installation over in-floor heating systems.

 

Not to be used on floating floors (laminate or click system)

Spread rate of 13.9 sq. m (150 sq. ft.) is for an even and level surface. Spread rate varies depending on eveness of surface

Features:

  • Moisture curing wood flooring adhesive with extremely strong bond
  • Acoustical membrane with an FIIC rating 63
  • Moisture barrier reducing concrete vapour emissions from 5.4 kg (12 lb.) per 93 sq. m (1,000 sq. ft.) per 24 hours to below 1.4 kg (3 lb.)
  • Crack filler for cracks in the slab up to 1/8 in. thick
  • Cures into a foam creating a cushion for a softer underfoot feel
  • Virtually odour free
  • V.O.C. free
  • Non flammable
  • No flash time
  • 2 to 3 hours working time
  • 2 to 3 hours tack time
  • Drying time of 16 to 24 hours depending on humidity and temperature
  • Up to 1 year shelf life in closed can
  • Can be applied directly to any sub-floor surface
  • Recycled content settles. Mix well with electric drill before use
